The Green Key label
Green Key is a voluntary eco-certification programme for hotels, hostels, campsites, holiday parks, small accommodations as well as conference centres, attractions and restaurants.
The Green Key certification is based on compliance with strict internationally recognised criteria in the areas of environmental management (water, energy, waste, cleaning, etc.) and sustainability education (staff, guests, suppliers, etc.).
Compliance with the criteria is confirmed through a rigorous application process and third-party verified after regular on-site audits. The certification is valid for one year at a time.
Currently (May 2023), there are more than 4,000 establishments in 60 countries certified with the Green Key.
Green Key is endorsed by various institutional partners, international hotel chain and tour operator partners and cooperating with a range of web partners.
The Green Key programme is managed by the international charity, the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) and its national member organisations.

Open from 6 am to 11 pm, this area is free of charge for 9Hotel Pâquis' guests. Later in the evening, be tempted by a cocktail at the bar and relax in one of the lounges at your disposal. And keep in mind that 9Hotel Pâquis guests benefit from unlimited self-service tea and coffee.
The Fitness Centre in your 3* Hotel in Geneva
The Fitness Centre at Geneva’s 9 Hôtel is an invitation to wellness and relaxation throughout your visit to the city. Enjoy a work-out session while travelling with a selection of state-of-the-art equipment. Whether before a day of meetings or in the evening after a tour of the city, the 9 Hôtel Pâquis Fitness Center offers all you need to further your fitness programme.
For guests not staying at the hotel, the wellness centre (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and fitness) is accessible from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. starting from 39 CHF per visit. Access to the wellness centre is subject to condition of availability and requires a reservation at the hotel reception.
